Services Project Manager – Inside IR35 – Remote

The Role

The Project Manager will play an integral part in building or implementing processes and integrating their expertise in shaping the future growth of the Professional Services team in EMEA. You will be responsible for the coordination and management of Professional Services Delivery Projects throughout the Geo. This can take the form of non-billable activity, typically in smaller engagements, or billable activity typically in longer or more strategic engagements as the market demands. You will build relationships with clients and manage customer satisfaction. You’ll need to have full understanding of industry-standard best practices for a services organization and the ability to interact with Management and customer management at all levels.

Focus Area
 

  • Act as main point of contact for assigned customers for Consulting engagements
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for Consulting projects
  • Assist SEMs with creation of Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Work with Services Engagement Managers to negotiate Services Contracts
  • Control project requirements, scope, and change requests
  • Determine, monitor, and review all project economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk
  • Manage customer satisfaction and escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Work with consulting team and Services Management Office to secure and plan project resources
  • Develop ongoing business relationships, and help to identify future Services needs
  • Contribute to the weekly Revenue forecast process with timely project updates
  • Provide expertise on best practices for Project Delivery processes
  • Be able to articulate the key values of the products, solution and strategy
  • Work with other regions in sharing best practice and  share resource where it makes sense for the global business
  • Work with the SMO to comply with the departmental processes and to develop new practices, processes and documentation as necessary,
  • Support the growth and development of Service resources within assigned region
  • Manage Services Partner relationships
  • Provide cover  for colleagues’ absences from time to time 
  • Comply with company processes and guidelines and adapt to the changing needs of the business

  • Experienced at coordinating the delivery of technical projects
  • Excellent oral and written communicator, able to interact with all levels at the customer and internally, able to maintain clear records and produce valuable reports
  • Organised mindset, bringing structure to your customer interations and reliability to your regular commitments
  • Great collaborator, able to work across your own team and wider groups, and extract the best from the resources you work with
