Security Engineer – Java – Inside IR35
Working with a global Private Bank we are seeking a Security Engineer to undertake the role of Tech Lead for a global payments programme. The role is to design and set up the new access management environment and the production of High Level and Low Level design documents.
THE ROLE:
As a Senior Security Developer, you will have an expansive range of responsibilities, including:
• Design, development and upkeep of required software using a programming language
• Maintaining a high standard of security and coding
• Working on infrastructure daily with terraform
• Establishing and promoting the use of best practices in the software engineering life cycle
• Managing cloud tech, working with AWS and cloud formation
• Working within a self-organizing and cross-functional Agile team
• Applying TDD and BDD approaches to ensure that quality is baked into the implementation
• Mentoring junior software engineers
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
A successful Senior Security Developer for this role will have:
• Commercial experience as a software engineer, DevOps engineer or security engineer
• Significant experience or interest in Security within software
• Significant experience with terraform
• In-depth experience of AWS and cloud technologies
• Experience with Node.Js
• Experience with Spring Boot and spring framework
• Experience with Java, Python or a relevant programming language
• Good communication skills
• A passion for DevOps and security
