A remote role, we are currently seeking a Mainframe Cobol CICS developer for a global banking organisation. This is a PAYE agency worker role.
Candidate should possess the following experience
More than 5 years’ experience in mainframe application development and support.
Knowledge of Cobol, JCL, CICS, VSAM..etc
Excellent problem solving skills.
Knowledge of full development life cycle from requirements gathering through to deployment and support.

Role responsibilities are:
Supporting and developing a mainframe based application within Global Custody System area of Security Services and working with the existing teams.
Supporting Global Custody System (GCS) which provide settlement and safekeeping of securities for UK and European regions and GCS is a time critical system with set cut off times to ensure transactions are processed to the correct markets within the SLAs.
Development of the GCS application using Cobol, Jcl, CICS, VSAM.
