IT Asset Management Project Manager
Our client is embarking on an extensive Technology Transformation Programme, covering 18 Business Units (countries). ServiceNow has been selected as the IT Service and Asset Management platform and is being provisioned by a 3rd party supplier.
ServiceNow Hardware and Software asset management activities have been technically installed in our client’s larger business units and we now need someone who can come in and help ‘finish’ the job.  The ITAM Project Manager will initially undertake an assessment of Asset Management (hardware & software) and define an approach and plan to operationalise and stand up the right level of governance. The role will ensure that the required level of control is placed around this activity and will support the local business units in using the tooling appropriately going forward.
The ITAM module will also be leveraged to undertake a Technical Discovery Project in Q4 2021.  As such we require someone who has strong experience to come in and assess the current set up and configuration, identify opportunities for ensuring ITAM CMDB is the ‘single source of truth’ by feeding in data from various sources (i.e. Qualys; local SCCM etc).  The successful candidate will lead two business analysts / data mappers (hardware & software) to undertake this effort and will work closely with the chosen SI who will undertake the Discovery analysis.
