Position Title: Engagement Lead, Cybersecurity Science & Analytics (CS&A) Inside IR35

Job Summary:

Cybersecurity Science and Analytics (CS&A) empowers Cybersecurity in protecting the bank by leveraging data and innovative capabilities to create effective and proactive security measures, as well as enabling data driven business decisions. The CS&A mission is to secure the bank using data, analytics, and innovation. Our objectives are to:

  • Develop next-generation capabilities and intellectual property
  • Make security operate efficiently and effectively at scale

This is critical to the protection of Bank customers, the Bank brand, Bank information, financial assets and ultimately shareholder value, through ensuring the Bankf remains a market leader in protecting our customers and assets.
Cybersecurity Science and Analytics is made up of five core towers, whose functions are to: move data, ensure it is in the right structure, automate processes, design infrastructure and keep the systems functioning (Data Engineering); manage the analytic engines and develop capabilities that generate knowledge (Analytic Engines); prove concepts and methods, while also solving the tactical challenges presented to the organization (Advanced Projects); develop the analytics methods (Artificial Intelligence); and support the people, system of systems and underpinning controls that support the overall operations of the CS&A platform (Delivery Support).

Objectives of the role:

The credibility of CS&A is dependent upon our ability to continuously and clearly communicate our message and value, as well as build engagement with our strategic partners both internal and third party. The Engagement Lead will continuously improve the CS&A brand, through the delivery of a range of publicity and marketing platforms and artefacts, including:

  • External industry events e.g. Data + AI summit
  • External conferences and communities
  • External publications e.g. WIRED magazine
  • Published academic papers
  • Internal technical highlights to senior executive
  • Internal pitch presentations to senior executive
  • Internal Cyber-wide communications
  • CS&A web front door
  • CS&A branding playbook and graphics library
  • Demo’s (internal & 3rd party)

The Engagement Lead will be responsible for the delivery of CS&A’s branding and engagement agenda. Working within the CS&A Delivery Support Function (reporting to the Chief of Staff), the ideal role holder will be both a highly driven creator and an organiser.
Responsibilities:

  • Establish a branding playbook for CS&A
  • Create an engaging front end for CS&A (SharePoint/Web/Confluence)
  • Maintain and manage the engagements agenda for CS&A including forward planning
  • Support CS&A leadership with preparation for events, papers and publications
  • Create graphics and visuals
  • Manage the review process for papers and publications
  • Manage and maintain CS&A speaking licenses
  • Supporting with internal and external relationships

The role holder will need to work adaptably within a fast-paced and maturing agile environment; and have the ability to work autonomously, trusted to self-assign and complete tasks without close monitoring.

Must Have

  • Exceptional written and visual communications; able to show examples across a range of formats
  • Minimum 5 years working within a related (branding/marketing/publicity/communications) role, ideally within Global organisations of large scale and complexity in Financial Services
  • Using tooling to create images for use in papers and presentations, including MSFT Visio
  • Understanding of project management principles
