Project Overview
As part of the banks ongoing Cyber Security programme of work, the bank have implemented a Logging and Monitoring (L&M) solution that oversees multiple platforms and applications across the banks global organisation. We are applying enhancements to the L&M solution and seek a Technical Business Analyst with IT engineering background to assist with delivering these enhancements, in a fast paced and interesting area of Cyber Security.

Role Description:
The Technical Business Analyst, will assist with the analysis, requirements gathering and process mapping to support enhancing the banks global L&M solution. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a engineering background and team-lead experience as the role involves working closely with IT developers and operational teams. The Technical Business Analyst will also work closely the project manager.

Essential Skills:

  1. Requirements gathering in a technical environment, e.g. Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines, Cloud and on premise infrastructure platforms
  2. Strong process mapping skills
  3. Strong analysis skills
  4. Identification of use cases
  5. Technical understanding of infrastructure technologies
  6. Experience of work closely with IT developers/engineers and Operational teams  
  7. Root cause analysis
  8. Ability to optimise processes and maximise efficiency
  9. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  10. Positive team player working as part of a large programme
  11. Accountability for deliverables and proven track record of delivering on schedule
  12. Proficient in MS Excel, Visio, Jira, Confluence

Desirable Skills

  1. IAM/PAM experience
  2. Engineering lead background
  3. Previous financial services experience
  4. Experience of working within a global distributed programme and global teams
