Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business/Solution Architect to join our team and work closely with our large banking client in the corporate real estate domain. As a Business/Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative technology solutions that align with the strategic goals of our client’s corporate real estate division. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals, and vendors, to define and deliver robust and scalable solutions that optimize real estate operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand the corporate real estate requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive architectural framework for the corporate real estate domain, ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture.
  • Identify and evaluate technology solutions, tools, and platforms that can enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and security of real estate operations.
  • Design end-to-end solutions that integrate various systems, applications, and data sources to deliver seamless workflows and enhance decision-making processes.
  • Create and maintain architectural documentation, including solution blueprints, system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and interface specifications.
  • Lead solution design reviews and provide guidance to development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and developers to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables, ensuring that architectural considerations are addressed.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to architectural design, system integrations, and data flows.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements in the corporate real estate domain, and provide recommendations for their incorporation into the architecture.
  • Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders, promoting effective communication, collaboration, and understanding of architectural decisions and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Business/Solution Architect, preferably in the banking or financial services industry, with a specific focus on corporate real estate.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate real estate processes, including property management, lease administration, space utilization, facility management, and related domains.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in architecting solutions using a combination of on-premises and cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise software applications, databases, middleware, and integration technologies commonly used in the corporate real estate industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
